But I don\u2019t think it\u2019s that bad, I wash after every time I wear.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-4\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">It is certainly an odd ritual to follow but as long as it works, Mahomes can\u2019t be blamed for it. Not only is he the most successful quarterback in the league right now but he took just six years to win three Super Bowl MVPs, when Tom Brady won three when he was 37 years old.<\/p>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-5\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">Adding to his checklist of pre-game routine, the Chiefs QB was clear that the \u2018red underwear superstition\u2019 is not the only ritual he follows before games.<\/p>\n<h2>Patrick Mahomes Reveals All His Pregame Superstitions<\/h2>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-6\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">Mahomes was born to an MLB player Pat Mahomes Sr. which has led him to absorb more of the baseball culture early on in his life. And just like any baseball player, Mahomes has had a number of superstitions to follow. Detailing them one by one, he said,<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"article-content-block-7\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"blockquote\"><p><em>\u201cMy pregame rituals are pretty simple, I\u2019m a baseball player so I\u2019m superstitious. So I ate the same meal, just steak, and eggs with a little bit of hash browns or fries, little carbs.
