Candiace Dillard Bassett<\/strong>\u00a0claimed producers wanted her to hold back at the\u00a0Real Housewives of Potomac\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>reunion, addressed why\u00a0she quit, and hinted at what it would take for her to return.<\/span><\/p>\n

The alum also addressed\u00a0her pregnancy\u00a0with husband\u00a0Chris Bassett<\/strong> \u2013 and if they\u2019re planning on having more.<\/p>\n

Speaking with\u00a0Entertainment Tonight, Candiace shared she\u2019s about 13 weeks and three days into the pregnancy, and she\u2019s \u201cjust about into the second trimester.\u201d<\/p>\n

She addressed how Chris told her they would have a baby by the time he was 50 (he\u2019s now 46). Chris, who was also in the interview, claimed their doctors know the gender, but he and Candiace aren\u2019t aware, and they want to keep it a \u201csurprise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding if they\u2019ll have more children, Candiace shared they have \u201canother embryo in the freezer,\u201d but she\u2019s \u201ctaking it day by day\u201d \u2013 and they\u2019re considering a \u201csurrogate\u201d for the next one.<\/p>\n

She said the pregnancy \u201c95 percent\u201d affected her decision to walk away from\u00a0RHOP<\/em>, as she was \u201cadamant\u201d about creating a \u201cfree\u201d and \u201cpeaceful\u201d space for the child without any \u201cadded pressure\u201d from the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was kind of a no-brainer,\u201d said Candiace, who said the \u201cspace would have to be different\u201d for her to consider returning in the future \u2013 but it\u2019d be \u201cfun\u201d to do a spinoff with her and her family.<\/p>\n

Her \u201chope\u201d for the show is that castmates \u201cun-sync\u201d themselves and have a \u201cdynamic shift.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI do think that I maybe took a sort of different approach at this reunion at the request of the network to try and be less vitriolic and more in a space and a spirit of moving forward,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd there were things that I would have said had I not been given those directives. But at this juncture, it just feels moot. It feels like there isn\u2019t anything else to say. I am so removed mentally from [it].\u201d<\/p>\n
