I needed to be present for my family and for my husband and for my eldest son.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-sanya-had-a-lot-of-fun-filming-her-two-seasons-of-the-real-housewives-of-atlanta-nbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sanya had a lot of fun filming her two seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlanta\u2026<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-791384\" src=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2024\/04\/NUP_200415_08000.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo by: AB+DM\/Bravo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sanya, who appeared on the show for two seasons, said being a peach holder is a lot of work. \u201cInevitably, the show\u00a0really\u00a0pulls you away,\u201d she said. \u201cYou have to be there and be committed. And so, I think it was the perfect timing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always knew when I started Housewives that it would probably be for a short time because I do so many things, and I say yes to life, and it was a wonderful opportunity. I\u00a0really\u00a0enjoyed it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Bravo decided to part ways with the Olympian, Sanya said she had been mentally preparing herself for the decision. \u201cI feel like, even before I joined the cast, the reason I joined the cast was for the same thing: They\u2019re trying to find the\u00a0right group of women,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd so after my last season, we had been on break for a while. And so, for me, I had already started moving on mentally. There are other things that I wanted to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"pb-in-article-content test-1\"><\/div>\n<p>Despite the cast changes, Sanya is still connected to many of her former co-stars, and she said they all sent her well wishes after the birth of her new baby. \u201cMarlo [Hampton]\u00a0is the one I talk to every day, but\u00a0Drew [Sidora]\u00a0reached out [and]\u00a0Kandi [Burruss], of course, reached out,\u201d Sanya said. \u201cI\u2019ve spoken to\u00a0Kenya [Moore]\u00a0a couple of times.
