Even so, Viall admitted, \u201cI was caught off guard, and surprised by the abruptness\u201d of the divorce announcement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think what shocked me the most is this wasn\u2019t just a normal breakup or an end of an engagement, this was a divorce announcement,\u201d the former \u201cBachelor\u201d lead noted.<\/p>\n<p>He also admitted he believes there is \u201cmore to the story\u201d behind Turner and Nist\u2019s decision to divorce so soon after getting married.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Bachelor\u201d star pointed out, \u201cIt doesn\u2019t require lawyers to get out of an engagement. It does require lawyers to get out of a marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Viall added, \u201cI\u2019m really curious what changed with Gerry and Theresa that made them so sure to sign up a marriage license, but now only to get a divorce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaybe Gerry\u2019s not as golden as we hoped he would be,\u201d Viall suggested.<\/p>\n<h2>The Former \u2018Bachelor\u2019 Star Would Love to Have Theresa Nist on His Podcast<\/h2>\n<div id=\"d7f30b309481662eb9164caa410df785\" class=\"embed_container\">\n<div class=\"lazy-embed lazy-embed--ssr embed-instagram-com lazy-embed--loaded\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C1cnJVCOjJ5\/?hl=en\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Viall expressed an interest in having Nist join him for an episode of his podcast, \u201cThe Viall Files.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He admitted he thought Nist\u2019s side of the situation would probably be more intriguing to hear than Turner\u2019s version. Fans of \u201cThe Viall Files\u201d seemed to love the idea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA Theresa interview would be groundbreaking,\u201d\u00a0a fan noted\u00a0on the podcast\u2019s Instagram page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNick, we need an interview from Theresa alone,\u201d\u00a0another declared.<\/p>\n<p>Someone else commented, \u201cNick I agree with you. I hope Theresa or her family will come on your show!! Or one of the ladies from the show!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A different \u201cViall Files\u201d listener shared a different perspective.\u00a0They suggested\u00a0Nist \u201cHas too much class &amp; common sense to join Nick\u2019s podcast to share negative details about Gerry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That person added, \u201cShe is more into cutting ties and putting the chaos behind her and going forward with her successful life. I\u2019m sure she is embarrassed and sorry she agreed to marry this latent imposter especially on a TV show.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Viall Thinks \u2018the Truth\u2019 Will Emerge<\/h2>\n<div id=\"cb2f0cced5887f0228f36bda6766dff3\" class=\"embed_container\">\n<div class=\"lazy-embed lazy-embed--ssr embed-instagram-com lazy-embed--loaded\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C53dg-zrEwl\/\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Turner and Nist indicated the decision to divorce came after a lack of agreement on where to live together. Viall isn\u2019t fully buying it, though.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s because they couldn\u2019t find an apartment together.
