The chef, who appeared on \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d season 11, has helped the pair get their restaurant off the ground. As fans are aware, Something About Her is not yet open.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>When Mellencamp asked Maloney if Davidi was still working alongside her and Madix, the \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d personality replied, \u201cWe\u2019re not working with Penny any longer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe loved working with Penny. And Penny was great. But it just ultimately wasn\u2019t the right fit,\u201d said Maloney.<\/p>\n<p>During an April 2024 appearance on the \u201cEverything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino\u201d podcast,\u00a0hosted by Danny Pellegrino, Maloney briefly discussed rumors circulating about Something About Her. She stated that is not the case. She also denied claims that she and Madix will be partnering with Uber Eats and offering their sandwiches nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnother rumor, I don\u2019t know where it came from,\u201d said the 37-year-old. \u201cI know a lot of people do that, but I think that would just be very inconsistent because it would be \u2014 I saw something, it was going to be ghost kitchens across the country. And I\u2019m like, that wouldn\u2019t work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maloney also teased that fans can\u00a0<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">expect<\/span>\u00a0her and Madix to open Something About Her in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow that we have everything we need, it\u2019s just now we\u2019re in our hiring and training phase. And just the final touches on everything. She suggested she wanted to open the restaurant with her ex-husband\u00a0Tom Schwartz\u00a0before their 2022 breakup. In addition, Maloney, who was a waitress at SUR, noted that she has experience in the service industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause I\u2019ve spent a majority of my life, and especially adult life working in service industry, I\u2019m like, \u2018Why not do something that I already know?\u2019 It\u2019s like my life experience, essentially. But do it on a smaller scale,\u201d said the 37-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>Maloney also suggested that she was not feeling fulfilled before taking the steps to open Something About Her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just thought it would just be, like, something very lovely to give myself something to, like, work on and do. And have purpose.
