While the\u00a0Golden State Warriors\u2018 lack of authority in the league is heartbreaking for the fans, there\u2019s something much worse headed their way. According to 1-time WNBA champion Lexie Brown, the celebrated Big 3 of the Dub Nation are in the endgame now and might not play another season together. On a recent episode of Gil\u2019s Arena, Brown predicted how the situation might play out for the Warriors.<\/p>\n<p data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-wp.thesportsrush.com\/2024\/04\/55bd4035-untitled-design-2024-04-07t234952.749.jpg?format=auto&amp;w=3840&amp;q=75\" alt=\"1x WNBA Champ Declares Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green Will Not Play Together Next Season\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"ad-stn-b9E69xei\" class=\"min-h-60 lg:min-h-[29rem] data-event mb-4\" data-type=\"ad\" data-variant=\"stn\" data-property=\"b9E69xei\">\n<p id=\"article-content-block-2\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">The 2021 WNBA Champion said this season would be the last time to see\u00a0Stephen Curry,\u00a0Klay Thompson, and\u00a0Draymond Green\u00a0lace up together. As per Brown, Green would be the obvious choice for the Warriors to get rid of first. She said,\u00a0<em>\u201cI don\u2019t know where they can move Dray, so I think Clay can control his destiny at this point.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Brown believes shipping Green off would create an opportunity for Thompson, soon to be a free agent this summer.<\/p>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-3\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">Former NBA star\u00a0Brandon Jennings\u00a0also agreed with Brown\u2019s take on the podcast. When asked the same question, Jennings said this was the last time fans would see them together. In his opinion, the myriad of\u00a0Green\u2019s on-court antics\u00a0have led to the franchise turning its back on him. The young core, including Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski, has taken up the job well. However, Thompson is having an erratic season, and Green has been ejected multiple times due to his antiques.<\/p>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-5\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">This has severely derailed the Dub Nation\u2019s journey so far. If they get into the Play-In, it will be a herculean job for the current roster to compete in a stacked Western Conference. Even the Warriors\u2019 owner has hinted towards a step to split the trio.<\/p>\n<h2>Joe Lacob hinted at breaking up the Warriors\u2019 Big 3<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-wp.thesportsrush.com\/2024\/04\/8becec9d-usatsi_22006051-scaled.jpg?format=auto&amp;w=640&amp;q=75\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-6\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">It\u2019s becoming clearer by the day that having these three in the squad isn\u2019t providing the desired outcome the franchise wishes. More importantly, there is more damage being done by this combination than the kind of positive impact they make on and off the court. Brian Windhorst told ESPN that the Warriors\u2019 majority owner Joe Lacob informed \u2018The Athletic\u2019 about his plans to move forward with the team.<\/p>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-7\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">According to Windhorst, Lacob\u2019s primary objective is to bring the Warriors under the luxury tax next season. He said,<\/p>\n<p id=\"article-content-block-8\" class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\"><em>\u201cI don\u2019t blame him. They have paid hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes over the last decade.
