Kaity rocked a white dress and denim jacket while Zach donned a pair of jeans, a white T-shirt and a denim jacket.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/feature-Kaity-Biggar-Zach-Shallcross-Wear-Cowboy-Boots-from-Hometown-Date.jpg?w=1000&amp;quality=86&amp;strip=all\" alt=\"Kaity Biggar Zach Shallcross Wear Cowboy Boots from Hometown Date\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After Kaity brought Zach home to meet her family during\u00a0<em>The Bachelor<\/em>\u00a0season 27, he\u00a0popped the question\u00a0during the March 2023 finale. During the\u00a0<em>After the Final Rose<\/em>\u00a0episode, they revealed their plans to move in together in Austin, Texas, and their desire to wed in 2025.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad__slot--wrapper ad__w300 ad__h250 ad__align\" data-viewport-child=\"1NaqDALs\">\n<div id=\"article-inline-box2\" class=\"dfp-slot advertisement ad__slot ad__h50-inner\" role=\"region\" aria-label=\"Advertisement\" data-google-query-id=\"CM3B_9bU1IUDFfnLFgUdvjgOSA\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/4216\/usweekly\/inline-box2\/article_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The couple seems to be on track for both of their goals. In January, Kaity and Zach shared they had\u00a0moved into their first home\u00a0together in Texas. \u201cOfficially our new home,\u201d Kaity wrote via her Instagram Story at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Kaity shared that the twosome\u2019s nuptials had been\u00a0set for October 2025, noting that they had planned to meet with a wedding planner soon.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad__slot--wrapper ad__w300 ad__h250 ad__align\" data-viewport-child=\"1NaqDALs\">\n<div id=\"article-inline-box3\" class=\"dfp-slot advertisement ad__slot ad__h50-inner\" role=\"region\" aria-label=\"Advertisement\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Since their engagement, Kaity and Zach have been candid about\u00a0putting in the work\u00a0to enhance their relationship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZach and I started couples therapy right after the show,\u201d Biggar wrote via her Instagram Story in March, responding to a user who had asked about premarital counseling. \u201cCouples counseling can be incredibly beneficial even when things are going well in a relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued: \u201cFrom strengthening communication skills to addressing unresolved issues, it helps maintain our already very healthy relationship. And especially after getting off a crazy show like\u00a0<em>The Bachelor<\/em>\u00a0it helped facilitate vulnerability and openness which I used to have a hard time with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the couple is seemingly going strong, viewers watched as they went through a rough patch during the show. Zach initially said he didn\u2019t want to be intimate during his time on\u00a0<em>The Bachelor<\/em>, but he confessed to Kaity that he had slept with runner-up\u00a0<strong>Gabi Elnicki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoing in [to] fantasy suite week, I just wanted to use that time \u2014 that intimate time \u2014 to just get to know each other more on a more emotional level and just see what we\u2019re like off the cameras too. I was just looking forward to that,\u201d Kaity\u00a0exclusively told\u00a0<em>Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0in March 2023. \u201cBut, in Bachelor world, things don\u2019t always go as planned, so I don\u2019t think I really went in with a whole lot of expectations. I was just hoping it would go smoothly and we hit a hurdle for sure.
