Now that\u00a0Crystal Kung Minkoff\u00a0is walking away from\u00a0The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,\u00a0Kyle Richards\u00a0is giving her two cents \u2014 and opening up about her own future on the show.<\/p>\n

During an\u00a0Amazon Live session\u00a0on Wednesday, April 17, Richards reacted to the news of\u00a0Kung Minkoff’s departure\u00a0while answering question from fans.<\/p>\n

“It made me sad, of course…\u00a0I don’t know, I have kind of mixed feelings. Not because of her, just because… It’s probably disappointing but also like life’s great without reality television, too,” Richards, 55, said of the Real Coco founder. “So it’s not like, ‘Oh my god, poor Crystal!'”<\/p>\n

“She has a great family, and there’s a lot of say for not doing [the show],” she added. “She’s gonna be great.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Kung Minkoff announced she would not be returning to\u00a0The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills\u00a0ahead of its upcoming 14th season. The mom of two joined the Beverly Hills-based franchise in 2021 for season 11.<\/p>\n

At the time, she immediately\u00a0began butting heads\u00a0with\u00a0Sutton Stracke. One of the former foes turned pals’ arguments centered around\u00a0confronting racial stereotypes. She also opened up about her\u00a0eating disorder struggles\u00a0and ongoing familial dynamics.<\/p>\n

“I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of\u00a0Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s very bittersweet,” Kung Minkoff, 41, said in\u00a0her video post. “Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in her Live, Richards got candid about her future on the Bravo show and revealed that she\u00a0hadn’t made a decision\u00a0about returning.<\/p>\n

“I haven’t said anything yet,” she explained. “I know there are reports online that I’m not coming back, or that I am coming back. That conversation is TBD.”<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time the\u00a0Halloween Ends<\/em>\u00a0actress has addressed rumors of her departure. In March, Richards admitted that she had a tumultuous time on season 13.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople keep asking me, \u2018Are you going to come back? Are you going to leave?\u2019\u201d she told\u00a0Extra. \u201cIt\u2019s always something I decide last minute, sort of.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think this season, particularly, because I had been so under the microscope, not just with the cast, but in the public eye. It\u2019s been very challenging to navigate through that when I\u2019m just trying to figure out my life myself,” she said, referencing her\u00a0marital troubles\u00a0with husband\u00a0Mauricio Umansky.<\/p>\n

In July 2023, a source close to Richards and Umansky told PEOPLE that the couple had chosen to separate\u00a0after 27 years of marriage.<\/p>\n

“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,\u201d the insider said at the time. \u201cThey remain amicable as they figure out what\u2019s next for them and their family.”<\/p>\n

The two were seen working their issues out throughout season 13 of\u00a0RHOBH<\/em>, and while they have not announced any plans to divorce, Richards and Umansky have both been outspoken about how they’re working through things, but the future of their marriage is uncertain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
