Louie Ruelas\u2019 battle with his ex-fianc\u00e9e\u00a0Vanessa Reiser\u00a0has turned nasty as the RHONJ husband responded to a new lawsuit filed in February.<\/h2>\n

The U.S. Sun<\/em>\u00a0reports that\u00a0Teresa Giudice\u2019s husband, Louie Ruelas, claims his ex was disclosing confidential information about him and his wife to their RHONJ cast members to use against them on the hit Bravo show.<\/p>\n

In February, attorney Kevin S. Johnson and his firm, Johnson Litigation Group,\u00a0alleged that Louie Ruelas and private investigator Bo Dielt launched a\u00a0\u201charassment and abuse\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0campaign\u00a0against Vanessa Reiser.<\/p>\n

Louie,\u00a0Bo Dietl, and other defendants filed a response to the lawsuit on April 18. In addition to airing their counterclaims, Louie, Bo, and others also denied the plaintiff\u2019s claims about hacking and digging up dirt on Vanessa.<\/p>\n

The RHONJ husband alleges that Johnson and his law firm used\u00a0\u201cunlawful and egregious misconduct\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cbreached their ethical obligations.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0He also claims that Johnson\u00a0\u201cslandered\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0him and caused him to suffer\u00a0\u201csignificant harm.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

In the filing, Louie also alleges that Vanessa, a licensed psychotherapist, was gossiping with various members of the RHONJ cast so that they could then use the information against him and Teresa.<\/p>\n

He also\u00a0accuses Vanessa of working with the RHONJ cast\u00a0to cause drama.<\/p>\n

\u201cRuelas believed Reiser was disclosing confidential information to patients and cast members of Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) to use against him and his wife, in an attempt to bolster the collogue of the show and continue the relentless campaign of harassment, despite existing orders precluding this type of conduct,\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0the filing states.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if the\u00a0\u201cleaked information\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>will be addressed throughout season 14 of RHONJ, which is set to premiere on May 5.<\/p>\n

At the season 13 reunion, several RHONJ cast members accused Louie of hiring Bo Dietl to investigate them, which the New Jersey businessman denied.<\/p>\n

The allegations further divded the RHONJ cast which was already split into separate camps -aka \u201cTeam Teresa\u201d and \u201cTeam Melissa.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the court filing, Louie admits that as part of his investigation into Vanessa\u2019s alleged misconduct,\u00a0\u201cinvestigators attended therapy sessions with Reiser to gain first-hand knowledge of Reiser\u2019s improprieties and violations of both ethical and legal conduct.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He also alleges that Johnson falsified emails\u00a0\u201cunder fake names\/personas\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0to\u00a0\u201cdamage Ruelas\u2019 chances in the court of law, stir controversy, and create reality TV content.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The 48-year-old goes on to claim that Johnson and Vanessa had a\u00a0\u201cpeculiar interest in certain RHONJ cast members\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0as well as they had an\u00a0\u201cobsession with Ruelas and RHONJ.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe court found that Johnson had a bizarre infatuation with the cast members of RHONJ, that of which is upon information and belief the basis for the continued media blitz and false and misleading statements made therein,\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0he continues.<\/p>\n

This all resulted in Louie\u2019s reputation being\u00a0\u201cdamaged beyond repair\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>as Johnson sent confidential emails to his adversaries, knowing it would hurt him\u00a0\u201cboth economically and personally\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>as well as\u00a0\u201cmake for good Reality TV.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

In court documents, Louie further argues that he\u00a0\u201csuffered economic injury and mental anguish,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>like losing his job, and\u00a0\u201cmultiple business opportunities.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

On top of that, he also claims to have suffered more damages, including legal fees and costs, as well as\u00a0\u201chumiliation, severe anxiety, and emotional distress.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

As previously reported,\u00a0Vanessa was denied a restraining order against the RHONJ husband in October 2023 when a New Jersey judge ruled in his favor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe court not only dismissed Ms. Reiser\u2019s complaint and denied her application for a permanent restraining order, but also found that she was \u2018obsessed\u2019 with Mr. Ruelas, continuously bothering him and his family,\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Louie\u2019s attorney said at the time.\u00a0\u201cIn essence, the court held that the filing of the restraining order was akin to a publicity stunt.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When it comes to this new lawsuit, Louie is\u00a0NOT<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0backing down and is asking the court to award him punitive damages\u00a0\u201cin an amount to be determined at trial, but in no event less than [$]5,000,000,\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0plus attorneys\u2019 fees.<\/p>\n

In a statement to\u00a0The U.S. Sun<\/em>, the RHONJ husband\u2019s lawyer, Jeremy Iandolo, said,\u00a0\u201cThe relentless and baseless assaults by Johnson towards my client Ruelas have inflicted significant harm, both economic and emotionally.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAs such, we refuse to halt our defense and will continue our attack until Mr. Ruelas is fully vindicated, made whole, and can live his life in peace, free from unwarranted attacks of Johnson and Reiser, whom seem more interested in pursuing their own distorted version of fame.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
