    Candiace Dillard-Bassett\u00a0and\u00a0Drew Sidora\u00a0worked together on a song in 2023 with the release of “Affirmations Pt. II.” But that might be the only time we get to see\u00a0the reality stars\u00a0working with each other.\u00a0Sidora was part of\u00a0The Real Housewives of Atlanta\u00a0while Dillard Bassett was part of\u00a0The Real Housewives of Potomac,\u00a0so it was surprising when, during Season 8 of\u00a0Potomac, Dillard-Bassett talked about not wanting to work with Sidora during her show in Chicago.<\/p>\n

    During the second episode of the season,\u00a0Dillard-Bassett was asked\u00a0by her manager\u00a0Nye\u00a0if they should bring Sidora out as a special guest, since Sidora is a Chicago native. At the time, Dillard Bassett objected to the idea. “I don’t feel like I need to do anything more musically with [Drew],” she said. “I sold out Chicago. I’m just saying,\u00a0I don’t need Drew or anyone of note to bring butts to the seats. Sorry, I’m tired.”<\/p>\n

    When asked about it at the\u00a0reunion by\u00a0Andy Cohen, Dillard-Bassett explained a little more in detail why she didn’t want to work with Sidora again. “I do business a certain way, and when I want to do business with someone that a friend knows, I go to the friend first. And that wasn’t done. So,\u00a0it just kind of left a weird taste in my mouth.” Cohen then compared Sidora and Dillard-Bassett’s beef to that of (reportedly)\u00a0Katy Perry\u00a0and\u00a0Taylor Swift’s that inspired the song “Bad Blood” off Swift’s album\u00a01989.\u00a0“It’s what ‘Bad Blood’ is about,” Cohen said and Dillard Bassett was seemingly shocked to learn it. Saying “Is\u00a0that what it’s about?!”<\/p>\n

    Drew Sidora Hasn’t Spoken About Any Issues With Candiace Dillard-Bassett\"Candiace<\/h2>\n

    Now that Dillard Bassett is taking\u00a0a break from\u00a0The Real Housewives of Potomac, we might not hear anything else on the matter. Dillard Bassett did spend much of her time talking about\u00a0her other issues with\u00a0Robyn Dixon\u00a0and\u00a0Gizelle Bryant\u00a0instead.\u00a0We do not know if Sidora is returning for the next season of\u00a0The Real Housewives of Atlanta\u00a0or if she plans to respond to Dillard-Bassett’s remarks.<\/p>\n
