In a video interview\u00a0with Parade magazine, Vanderpump was asked her thoughts on a recent story that alleged that Richards will not be allowed to return to RHOBH for season 14 unless she \u201ccomes public about her relationship with Morgan Wade.\u201d<\/p>\n
Vanderpump said she doesn\u2019t care about Richards\u2019 relationship with Wade\u00a0following her separation\u00a0from her husband\u00a0Mauricio Umansky.\u00a0And she doesn\u2019t think anyone else should either.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo,\u201c Vanderpump \u00a0told the outlet. \u201cWhy do we have to know about her relationship? I don\u2019t want to know who\u2019s munching on anything. I don\u2019t care. How about that? I don\u2019t care. Like, do what you got to do and keep it to yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n
Vanderpump and Richards are no longer friends. Their friendship ended following\u00a0a blowup in season 9\u00a0that prompted Vanderpump to quit RHOBH.<\/p>\n
Richards is the only original cast member remaining on RHOBH since its debut in 2010. Bravo has yet to confirm her return for season 14. Two other cast members, Annemarie Wiley and Crystal King Minkoff,\u00a0have been let go.<\/p>\n
In April 2024, a report\u00a0from The Daily Mail\u00a0claimed that Richards, 55, was told that she must agree to come clean about her relationship with Wade, 29, if she wants to return to \u201cThe Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills\u201d next season. Richards has repeatedly insisted she is just friends with the country singer.<\/p>\n But an insider told the outlet, \u201cThe producers feel that Kyle has said all she can say about her split from Mauricio [Umansky] and not it is time to tell the truth about her dating Morgan.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cKyle has beat around the bush a ton on Morgan and it is getting old,\u201d the source added. \u201cIt is time for her to finally admit that it is more than a friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n Richards has not commented on The Daily Mail\u2019s report. All along, she has been on the fence about returning to RHOBH.<\/p>\n In March 2024, Richards told fans\u00a0on Amazon Live\u00a0that she would wait until the very \u201clast minute\u201d to make her decision about returning to the Bravo reality show. She later\u00a0told E! News\u00a0she needs a \u201cbreak\u201d from the RHOBH drama.<\/p>\n Richards made it sound like the decision to return to RHOBH would be up to her and not the producers. In April 2024, a production source\u00a0told Reality Tea\u00a0there is \u201cno truth\u201d to the report that Richards would be required to disclose her relationship with Wade in order to return to RHOBH.<\/p>\n Despite their estranged relationship, Vanderpump said she feels for Richards amid her problems with Umansky after 28 years of marriage.<\/p>\n \u201cWith Kyle and Mauricio I mean, I don\u2019t have a great relationship with her, I\u2019ve been honest about that,\u201d \u00a0Vanderpump\u00a0told Us Weekly\u00a0in November 2023. \u201cBut I have empathy. Empathy for it.
