\u201cThe Real Housewives of New Jersey\u201d\u00a0returns to Bravo for its 14th season on May 5. After Andy Cohen\u00a0said on his SiriusXM Radio Show\u00a0that the new season\u2019s dynamic was \u201cnot sustainable\u201d given the rift between longtime stars\u00a0Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, Gorga spoke with\u00a0The U.S. Sun\u00a0about his comments and the upcoming season.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt isn\u2019t a sustainable universe to have kind of two camps on the show and I think you see that with Potomac this season and why a lot of viewers, including me, were frustrated with it, but I will say this. It somehow worked this season,\u201d Cohen elaborated on-air.<\/p>\n
\u201cI one thousand percent agree with him on that,\u201d Gorga told the Sun. She went on to tease a \u201chuge twist\u201d to come in the new season, adding, \u201cI\u2019m excited. I think it\u2019s a good refreshing season. I know everybody\u2019s seeing the change in dynamics and friendships, and it\u2019s actually going to be quite shocking.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gorga continued to talk about the new season with The U.S. Sun, telling the outlet about who on the cast she \u201ctrusts\u201d in the upcoming season.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have my girls on the show that I trust and I love. Love Dolores. I love Margaret and I love Rachel. I mean, I am getting to know Danielle a lot better this year. She seems like a really down to earth, awesome person. So I am also forming new friendships, which I\u2019m happy about,\u201d Gorga shared.<\/p>\n
Despite having her close friends, Gorga and Giudice\u2019s relationship is still looming heavily over the season. While the pair reportedly did not directly interact for most of the filming process, as it has led to a divide amongst the rest of their castmates as well. Even in the promotional photo for the season, which Gorga shared to\u00a0Instagram on April 5, the two sisters-in-law are positioned on opposite ends of the cast photo, which Gorga captioned, \u201cA House Divided.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rachel Fuda, one of Gorga\u2019s trusted co-stars, shared the cast photo as well on\u00a0April 5, making a point to crop Giudice out of the right side of the image. \u201cOne month til we\u2019re back \ud83d\udc83 Get excited! Season 14 of #RHONJ is right around the corner!\u201d her caption read, making no mention of the edit.<\/p>\n
Gorga responded to Fuda\u2019s post, writing, \u201c\u2620\ufe0f \u2714\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n
The cast divide is not only carrying through RHONJ season 14, according to Gorga, but also into their premiere parties. When asked how she would be ringing in the new season, Gorga told The U.S. Sun that her co-star \u201cMargaret Josephs is actually throwing a big party, so we\u2019re all going to Margaret\u2019s house. I won\u2019t say all of us, but I would say a majority of us are going to Margaret\u2019s house. We never do [one big party]. I feel like the Jersey cast always kind of splits up into sections as you can tell.\u201d<\/p>\n
