It\u2019s been over a decade since the bitter divorce between\u00a0Real Housewives of New York\u00a0alum\u00a0Bethenny Frankel\u00a0and\u00a0Jason Hoppy\u00a0began. They welcomed a daughter named Bryn in 2010 before separating two years later. The reality TV entrepreneur then filed for divorce in 2013.<\/p>\n
Their relationship was documented on\u00a0RHONY\u00a0and\u00a0Bethenny Ever After. Then, it all turned to tabloid fodder as the warring parties sparred in court for many years. But it\u2019s finally coming to an end. And Bethenny is now opening up about the relationship.<\/p>\n
Bethenny honored a whole new podcast just to discuss her legal proceedings called\u00a0Just B Divorced.<\/p>\n
During the premiere episode, which aired on YouTube on April 15, Beth discussed the night she first met her ex-husband. And touched upon a few red flags that were more apparent in hindsight.<\/p>\n
Bethenny was out with fellow reality TV star\u00a0NeNe Leakes\u00a0and some of her friends. Jason attended the same party with a Sports Illustrated model, who was a RHONY fan.<\/p>\n
\u201cI ended up meeting him and, [this] could be perceived as a red flag or as something admirable but, [\u2026] that night I had a driver for the night and [Jason\u2019s] car was downtown near the club but he pretended that it wasn\u2019t so he could ride with me uptown,\u201d Bethenny revealed. \u201cAnd then he asked the driver to take him back downtown to get his car so that he could go home. So it could either be endearing that he wanted to hang out with me, or a lie and that he really wanted to hang out with me because his friend knew who I was.\u201d<\/p>\n
The BStrong founder pointed out that Jason seemed to be pursuing fame by dating another reality TV star before meeting her. Bethenny only found out about her ex\u2019s dating trends after they were together. She did not disclose the woman\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe had already dated someone that his parents didn\u2019t approve of but that was on another reality show,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Bethenny admitted that finding out about her predecessor felt like it \u201cpresented as some version of a red flag to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
