The \u201cBachelor\u201d host Jesse Palmer, 44, and his wife, Emely Fardo, 34, are\u00a0expecting their first baby\u00a0\u2014 a daughter \u2014 in early January.<\/p>\n
The couple\u00a0shared the exciting news on Instagram\u00a0Friday alongside a pair of maternity pics that they took at the beach.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve been keeping a secret,\u201d they captioned the post. \u201cOur family is growing and our hearts are so full! This is a dream come true for us and we\u2019re so thrilled to be welcoming our baby girl in January 2024 \ud83c\udf80\ud83d\udc95.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an\u00a0interview with People, Palmer, who has two brothers and four nephews, gushed about how excited he is to finally get a \u201cfemale addition\u201d to his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cEmely has always wanted a daughter and she is so maternal by nature, I\u2019ve always known that she is going to be the best mom,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Palmer is already convinced he won\u2019t be much of a disciplinarian.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m so excited to share life with our daughter, take her on fun adventures and share with her the lessons this life has taught us,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n
Luckily, she said she has been feeling \u201creally good up to this point\u201d and is \u201cworking out daily.\u201d<\/p>\n
Palmer, who was cast in 2004 as the bachelor on the fifth season of the dating show, started dating Fardo in 2017. Two years later, they\u00a0were engaged\u00a0during a surprise getaway trip to Paris.<\/p>\n
The pair\u00a0secretly wed in June 2020\u00a0after postponing their planned Provence wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were only able to invite a small group of close friends that live in the greater NYC area, and that were in quarantine at the time,\u201d Palmer told People in October 2021.<\/p>\n
Last July, the couple\u00a0re-tied the knot\u00a0in the gardens of Ch\u00e2teau De La Gaude in France.<\/p>\n
\u201cEmely and I finally tied the knot (again) in front of our immediate families in Provence, France,\u201d the Canadian television personality shared on Instagram at the time. \u201cEverything was PERFECT.<\/p>\n
\u201cSuch a magical day full of love, tears (I maybe cried\u2026a lot) and gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fardo added in her own post that marrying the \u201clove of my life\u201d in front of her \u201cimmediate family\u201d was \u201ca dream come true and the most beautiful and emocional [sic] day of my life!\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
