Bethenny Frankel has paused her divorce podcast, \u201cJust B Divorced,\u201d following the recent death of her mother, Bernadette Birk, from lung cancer.<\/p>\n

The former \u201cReal Housewives of New York City\u201d star announced on social media she would also be removing certain episodes from streaming.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have chosen to temporarily remove my divorce podcast as a result of an overwhelming response and an influx of messages that have converged with the most significant loss of my life,\u201d Frankel said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Frankel, 53, explained that reactions to \u201cthis triggering topic\u201d have \u201cconfirmed how important this conversation is,\u201d so she\u2019s vowed to \u201ccontinue this dialogue\u201d in the coming weeks to help people navigate their divorces.<\/p>\n

Frankel\u2019s rep confirms to Page Six that she\u2019ll continue recording \u201cJust B With Bethenny Frankel\u201d and \u201cRants With Bethenny Frankel.\u201d<\/p>\n

It appears that the former reality star has faced skepticism in response to her announcement, as she followed up with an Instagram Story stating that there has been \u201cno backlash\u201d and insisted the divorce podcast \u201cWILL\u201d continue.<\/p>\n

She shot down any speculation that she paused the podcast in light of \u201cbacklash\u201d to her eyebrow-raising stories.<\/p>\n

Frankel\u2019s \u201cJust B Divorced\u201d podcast made headlines numerous times for her candid approach to talking about her ex-husband Jason Hoppy.<\/p>\n

In one episode, Frankel admitted she was \u201crelieved\u201d to have suffered a miscarriage while married to him and went so far as to say she had to \u201cforce\u201d herself to have sex with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to force myself, gag myself through doing it\u2026 it is torture,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The exes tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their daughter Bryn just a few months later. The former couple battled it out in court for nearly a decade over finances and custody over their daughter.<\/p>\n
