New court documents reveal that Luis’ company filed for $1 million bankruptcy after being slapped with a lawsuit by a vendor. The legal woes come as Luis introduces himself in\u00a0RHONJ\u00a0season 12. Considering Teresa’s criminal history, the last thing she likely wants is a spouse bringing her down with poor money management.<\/p>\n
Teresa has been on cloud nine since Luis came into her life. The couple dated for a few months before going public in November 2020. Luis is the first man Teresa has dated since divorcing Joe Giudice, and the couple ended up engaged after one year.\u00a0Teresa and Luis had already\u00a0made the big step of moving into a mansion together shortly before Luis popped the big question after a lavish fireworks display in Greece. But as Teresa teases her wedding plans, reports are\u00a0surfacing into Luis’ legal issues.<\/p>\n
New findings reveal the $113,000 lawsuit Luis’ company was slapped with in September 2021 for allegedly failing to pay $113,404.40, the\u00a0U.S. Sun\u00a0reports, and now the company Luis was involved with has filed for bankruptcy. C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. filed the suit against Produce Depot, Luis and a business partner over claims of not being paid for the\u00a0\u201cfresh fruit and vegetables\u201d the vendor sold to\u00a0Luis\u2019 company on October 20, 2020,\u00a0and November 13, 2020, in the amount of\u00a0\u201c$113,404.40.\u201d\u00a0The suit accuses Produce Depot of failing\u00a0“to pay for the commodities it ordered, received and accepted from Plaintiff, despite due demand.\u201d Now the vendor is after Luis and his team for the owed funds. The vendor also wants their legal fees reimbursed. Luis is said to have been one of the owners of Product Depot at the time the services were rendered.<\/p>\n
