The betting public is all-in on Mike Tyson over Jake Paul ahead of the pair’s July 24 fight.

"The

After opening as a big underdog, the money at BetUS has flocked to the soon-to-be 58-year-old boxing legend as he prepares to step in the ring against the 27-year-old Paul.

“The line continues to move as the betting public shows incredibly strong support for Tyson,” Tim Williams, director of public relations for BetUS, said. “Already, Tyson is far and away the bettors’ favorite.”

Tyson opened at +225 to win the fight when BetUS opened betting in early March.

By Friday afternoon, Tyson had dropped to +105 –– a near-even-odds underdog.

Paul, on the other hand, has fallen from -300 to just a -135 favorite over the same period.

“If the trend continues, we could see the line completely flip, with Tyson becoming the odds-on favorite before the match set to take place on July 20,” Williams said.

“Tyson is attracting the lion’s share of betting action, so we should continue to see this line move in an effort to attract some bets on Paul and balance the book before July rolls around,” he added.

“Tyson just has too much support, and should he win we’ll probably be looking at a significant loss.”

The fight will be streamed on Netflix and take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

In the lead-up to the fight, Tyson was shown plenty of videos sparring and showing serious punching power, as well as sprinting, which shocked some fans on social media in all the wrong ways.

Still, boxing is not a sprint, and his past strength and conditioning coach is not concerned.

Tyson last fought on Nov. 28, 2020, when he boxed Roy Jones Jr. to a draw in an exhibition.
