<\/p>\nA \u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d\u00a0shared a scary health diagnosis with fans. In an April 26, 2024 social media post, DWTS season 32 alum\u00a0Harry Jowsey\u00a0revealed that he was diagnosed with skin cancer at age 26.<\/p>\n
The \u201cToo Hot to Handle\u201d star\u00a0also issued a warning to fans with the hopes of saving at least one person from what he is now going through.<\/p>\n

Jowsey\u00a0was partnered with\u00a0DWTS pro dancer\u00a0Rylee Arnold\u00a0on the 32nd<\/sup>\u00a0season of \u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d last fall. The duo recently wrapped the DWTS Live Tour with several other pro dancers.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what you need to know:<\/p>\n Jowsey is known for his light-hearted TikTok videos, sometimes with his DWTS partner Rylee Arnold. But on April 26, he got serious as he talked to his fans about cancer. Jowsey was dressed down in a ripped green hoodie as he delivered his unexpected health news.<\/p>\n \u201cThere isn\u2019t really an easy way to say this,\u201d Jowsey told his 5 million TikTok followers. \u201cLast week I went to a dermatologist to get my skin checked and they found some skin cancer on me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m gonna be all good, everything\u2019s going to be okay,\u201d the reality star continued. \u201cBut I just wanted to make this post to let you know that summer\u2019s around the corner. Please wear sunscreen. Please go get your skin checked.\u201d<\/p>\n Jowsey shared that his doctor found a cancerous mole on his shoulder during his skin check.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you\u2019re freckly little frog like me, go get a mole map and get your body checked. Because you never know,\u201d he said in his video. \u201cI\u2019ve had this on my shoulder for like a year or two and I had no idea<\/p>\n Jowsey added that everyone should \u201cskin checked, wear your sunscreen and be a little bit more responsible\u201d out in the sun. \u201cBecause that\u2019s what I gotta do now, and it\u2019s very scary,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Jowsey\u2019s post received well wishes and comments from concerned fans.<\/p>\n \u201cSo glad you\u2019re okay \ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffc sending all the love!!!\u201d wrote his DWTS partner Rylee Arnold.<\/p>\n Fellow DWTS season 32 celeb Ariana Madix also posted a comment as she recalled her own past with skin cancer. \u201cmelanoma siblings \ud83d\udc96,\u201d the \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d star wrote. \u201cso scary but really glad you are ok and yes sunscreen so important and skin checks.\u201d<\/p>\n In October 2018, Madix had a scary ordeal with skin cancer. The DWTS finalist spoke out in an interview\u00a0with the Skin Cancer Foundation\u00a0to explain that there was a mole on her body that she noticed looked different but ignored.<\/p>\n \u201cI had noticed it a handful of years before getting to the doctor,\u201d Madix admitted. \u201cThen I sometimes got DMs from fans saying that they had noticed it, or that they were a dermatologist and it worried them.\u201d<\/p>\n The mole was removed by a dermatologist and Madix was diagnosed with melanoma.\u00a0According to the American Cancer Society, melanoma is one of the most dangerous types of skin cancer because it is \u201cmore likely to spread to other parts of the body.\u201d<\/p>\n After her biopsy came back positive for melanoma, Madix underwent surgery because the area was close to lymph nodes. Madix, who still has a visible scar on her chest,\u00a0told Entertainment Tonight\u00a0in 2019 that she continued to have follow-ups with a specialist every six months. \u201cBecause once you have [skin cancer], it\u2019s much easier to have it again or have it throughout your life especially because I\u2019m young,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be an ongoing thing.\u201d<\/p>\n DWTS pro dancer Witney Carson was also diagnosed with melanoma just a few weeks before she started on the ABC dancing show. Carson had two surgeries to remove melanoma in 2014.<\/p>\n \u201cThey took an inch diameter around the mole on my foot as well as all of my lymph nodes in my left hip,\u201d Carson\u00a0told People magazine\u00a0in an interview. \u201cIt was just spreading so quickly, and they had to get rid of the lymph nodes and there was lots of healing time. I think I took six weeks and then I went straight to \u2018Dancing with the Stars.\u2019<\/em>\u00a0My foot was wrapped.
