The new season of\u00a0The Real Housewives of New Jersey\u00a0premieres on May 5th.\u00a0This\u00a0will be the show\u2019s 13th season, but there doesn\u2019t seem to be much excitement over it after a\u00a0lackluster cast photo.\u00a0However,\u00a0Melissa Gorga\u00a0agrees with\u00a0Andy Cohen\u00a0and recently said that she and\u00a0Teresa Giudice\u00a0filming\u00a0separately\u00a0as they did for season 13 isn\u2019t sustainable for the show. Plus, she teases a plot twist.<\/p>\n

Long-time fans of\u00a0RHONJ\u00a0know that Melissa has never really been on the best terms with her sister-in-law, Teresa.\u00a0In fact,\u00a0Teresa was always unhappy about the way in which Melissa and her brother\u00a0Joe Gorga\u00a0joined the show. However, things have worsened\u00a0in recent years, and they\u00a0currently don\u2019t speak.\u00a0Both have said in previous interviews that they did not interact during the filming of this upcoming season of\u00a0RHONJ.<\/p>\n

Recently,\u00a0the\u00a0On Display\u00a0singer spoke to\u00a0The Sun\u00a0and had this to say about Andy\u2019s comments about them filming separately.<\/p>\n

\u201cI one thousand percent agree with him on that.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In terms of<\/span>\u00a0what fans can expect from season 13, Melissa said, \u201cI\u2019m excited. I think it\u2019s a good, refreshing season. I know everybody\u2019s seeing the change in dynamics and friendships, and it\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>actually<\/span>\u00a0going to be quite shocking.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She then teases a twist to the season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think people are so used to Jersey being about family. It\u2019s a huge twist this year \u2013 plot twist!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on what Andy previously said, it seems the show will\u00a0be divided\u00a0into two teams \u2013 \u2013 Team Melissa, which includes\u00a0Margaret,\u00a0Rachel, and\u00a0Danielle, and Team Teresa, which has\u00a0Jennifer\u00a0and\u00a0Jackie. Dolores seems to be friends with both.<\/p>\n

Previously, Margaret told the publication that the \u201cmost shocking\u201d fight was between herself and Jackie.\u00a0<\/span>Meanwhile,\u00a0<\/span>what she described as<\/span>\u00a0the \u201cbiggest fight\u201d\u00a0<\/span>occurred<\/span>\u00a0between Danielle and Jennifer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Andy recently clarified his comments, which you can see below. He says, \u201cIt somehow worked this season. We got through the season, and it worked, and it\u2019s interesting, and as I think you see from the trailer, the season is not about Melissa versus Teresa.\u201d<\/p>\n
