The two most notable positions the team avoided in the draft were wide receiver and quarterback.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/GettyImages-1813883805.jpg?quality=65&amp;strip=all&amp;w=780\" alt=\"3 WRs &amp; QB Among 17 Raiders UDFA Signings\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While the team wasn\u2019t able to draft either position, they were able to add some players in undrafted free agency. The\u00a0Raiders announced on April 27\u00a0all 17 undrafted rookies they signed.<\/p>\n<div id=\"e96a63042cb0b20b247744c3105d0368\">\n<article>The Las Vegas\u00a0#Raiders\u00a0have agreed to terms with the following undrafted free agents on Saturday after the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft:<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<p>Here\u2019s a breakdown of each player the team gave a contract to:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Las Vegas <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Raiders?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Raiders<\/a> have agreed to terms with the following undrafted free agents on Saturday after the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/OYTfYDzkKS\">pic.twitter.com\/OYTfYDzkKS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Raiders PR (@RAIDERS_PR) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RAIDERS_PR\/status\/1784382199888019555?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 28, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The Raiders roster is now up to 88 so they have two more spots they can feel. 17 players is a lot for an undrafted free agent class so those last two spots will likely be used on veterans.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Notable UDFA Signings<\/h2>\n<p>The signing that sticks out the most is quarterback\u00a0Carter Bradley. The Raiders were rumored to be\u00a0drafting a quarterback\u00a0for months but decided against it after six quarterbacks were selected before they picked at No. 13 in the first round. Bradley is the son of former Raiders defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.<\/p>\n<p>Wide receiver\u00a0Lideatrick Griffin\u00a0is also interesting. He\u2019s got great speed and was expected to get drafted. The Raiders wide receiver group is light on depth so Griffin, along with Tennessee\u2019s Ramel Keyton will be players to watch.<\/p>\n<p>On the defensive side of the ball, Ja\u2019Quan Sheppard was one of the most intriguing additions. He needs some time to develop but he\u2019s got good size and athletic ability. He won\u2019t be ready to play this season but he\u2019ll be a good candidate to put on the practice squad to see what he can do. Defensive end Ron Stone Jr. could also have a player to watch. He\u2019s got an intense work ethic, which is something that will stand out to head coach\u00a0Antonio Pierce.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Tom Telesco Talks Goals From 2024 Draft<\/h2>\n<p>This was Tom Telesco\u2019s first draft as the general manager of the Raiders but he\u2019s got a lot of experience running drafts. He was calm and collected this week and tried not to have too big of expectations for the draft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t say one big overriding goal, but I guess just trying to make sure we were drafting players that fit our identity,\u201d\u00a0Telesco said\u00a0during his April 27 media availability. \u201cObviously, there\u2019s needs we\u2019d like to fill, I\u2019ve told you before the needs kind of change. But depth is a need too, and you\u2019ve got to have depth across your team, so that\u2019s a big part of it. But you\u2019re just trying to include everybody in the process. There\u2019s a lot of people, all the coaches, all the scouts, front office, even doctors and security, Bob Stiriti is a part of our draft process, He does all that background work for us.
