During her time on\u00a0Andy Cohen\u2019s\u00a0Sirius XM radio show,\u00a0Andy Cohen Live, the longtime peach holder said choosing to leave the\u00a0Real Housewives\u00a0franchise has given her a feeling unlike any other. \u201cI feel\u00a0totally\u00a0free, actually,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Although Kandi is leaving, there will be a few familiar faces in Season 16 \u2014 specifically\u00a0Porsha Williams, who exited after Season 13. \u201cI mean, you know, I already knew that Porsha was, you know, thinking about coming back when I was thinking about leaving because we both talked to each other about it,\u201d Kandi said. However, \u201cCynthia [Bailey] told me\u00a0that I\u2019m\u00a0not gonna feel it until the show is on air.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe said right now, I\u2019m living my best life. Right? So, she\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m not\u00a0really\u00a0gonna care,\u2019 but she says when the show starts airing, I\u2019m\u00a0gonna\u00a0feel like, \u2018Oh man, I\u2019m not there with them.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Cynthia departed the series\u00a0in 2021 after an epic run full of shade, nasty reads, and themed Bailey events.<\/p>\n

Aside from Porsha, the\u00a0network has also revealed that\u00a0Kenya Moore\u00a0would\u00a0return\u00a0for Atlanta\u2019s Sweet 16.\u00a0Shere\u00e9 Whitfield has\u00a0been rumored\u00a0to return, but no official statements have\u00a0been released.<\/p>\n

Marlo Hampton\u00a0confirmed her departure, saying she was looking forward to spending the next chapter of her life\u00a0focusing\u00a0on raising her nephews.\u00a0Sanya Richards Ross, who held a peach for two seasons, also shared the news\u00a0she wouldn\u2019t return. \u201cI always knew when I started Housewives that it would probably be for a short time because I do so many things, and I say yes to life, and it was a wonderful opportunity. I\u00a0really\u00a0enjoyed it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
