Heather Dubrow\u00a0proved this on Sunday, April 28, when she shared a glimpse at her\u00a0youngest daughter\u2019s high school prom night.\u00a0The Real Housewives of Orange County\u00a0<\/em>mom\u00a0posted two photos of\u00a0Kat Dubrow\u00a0rocking a gorgeous dress that was a bit unexpected for the milestone occasion.<\/p>\n While prom dresses are traditionally long gowns presented in vibrant hues (think spring-ready pastels or dramatic gemstone colors), Kat opted for a short,\u00a0all-black look. The teen\u00a0donned a satin mini with an A-line skirt, ruching detail around the bust, and off-the-shoulder long sleeves with slits at the cuffs. She completed the ensemble with small hoop earrings and an elegant middle-part hairstyle.<\/p>\n Kat also showed off her prom look in a cute\u00a0TikTok video\u00a0featuring her date. The clip began with the pair tossing a stuffed animal back and\u00a0forth while dressed pretty casually: Kat was seen in a zip-up hoodie and gym shorts, while\u00a0her date was in\u00a0a short-sleeve tee and sweatpants. Seconds later, the clip cut to the high schoolers in their full prom looks.<\/p>\n \u201cFerry\u00a0in bae!\u201d Kat captioned the post, which showed her date in a two-button black suit and a white dress shirt.<\/p>\n The past year has been quite eventful for the\u00a0RHOC<\/em>\u00a0daughter.\u00a0Before turning 17 back in October, Kat had spent\u00a0a portion of her summer in\u00a0Evanston, Illinois. She was enrolled in Northwestern University\u2019s National High School Insitute, a five-week pre-college program that offers studies in film and video.<\/p>\n Months before heading to the Prairie State, Heather revealed she had secured a role in one of Kat\u2019s films. The OC mom posted\u00a0an April 4, 2023, Instagram that showed her and her husband,\u00a0Dr. Terry Dubrow, hanging out on a day of filming.<\/p>\n \u201cFeeling very at home on set\u2026 maybe a little too at home,\u201d she captioned the carousel.\u00a0\u201cSo proud of our baby [Kat] on her new film and it was so FUN to be included !!\u201d<\/p>\n Heather and Terry also share a 13-year-old son, Ace, and 20-year-old twins, Nick and Max. The former twin is currently studying at\u00a0Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, while his sister Max is enrolled at\u00a0Tufts University in Boston. The two spoke about their reality TV experience in a 2023 installment of\u00a0Growing Up Bravo.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cA\u00a0lot of people ask me if it\u2019s annoying to have cameras at your house 24-7, and I kind of have to explain that\u2019s not how it is,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m glad we did it and I\u2019m glad it\u2019s furthering my mom\u2019s career, and that\u2019s really all that matters, that she\u2019s happy and doing what she loves.
