Recent legal documents\u00a0showed Tom\u2019s team saying the lawsuit was \u201ca thinly veiled attempt to extend her fame and to rebrand herself as the victim.\u201d The docs added, \u201cNotably, since November of 2023 to the present date, LEVISS has actively maintained a provocative podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, to further bend the narrative to her will.\u201d<\/p>\n
Right, because Tom hasn\u2019t bent the narrative at all, on or off\u00a0Vanderpump Rules. Of course, the truth of the matter remains unknown. Nevertheless, Rachel\u2019s team thinks the truth is obvious, and that Tom is doing his best to skirt it.<\/p>\n
On April 29, Mark Geragos and Bryan Freedman gave a statement to the press on behalf of Rachel. The statement read, \u201cSandoval\u2019s response in the face of irrefutable evidence that will be presented in court is disturbing. Leveraging such claims for media attention and perpetuating victim-blaming is not just deplorable but actionable.\u201d<\/p>\n
This wouldn\u2019t be the first time Rachel and her team have accused opponents of victim-blaming. When\u00a0Lisa Vanderpump\u00a0was first\u00a0made aware of Rachel\u2019s lawsuit\u00a0by a pap, she said, \u201cThat\u2019s ridiculous. I think if you don\u2019t want to have somebody share your porn, then don\u2019t send it to your best friend\u2019s boyfriend, right?\u201d<\/p>\n
Rachel\u2019s team soon put out a response.
