Scheana Shay\u00a0and her husband,\u00a0Brock Davies, spoke of seeing\u00a0Ariana Madix\u00a0on\u00a0Broadway\u00a0on the latest episode of her podcast.<\/p>\n

As she also addressed Ariana\u2019s recent claim of having not watched the currently airing\u00a011th season\u00a0of\u00a0Vanderpump Rules\u00a0and reacted to jokes about her making \u201cScandoval\u201d about herself, Scheana, 38, and Brock, 33, looked back on their recent trip to New York City and the moment that Brock brought up\u00a0Rachel \u201cRaquel\u201d Leviss, 29, in front of Ariana, 38.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really excited to go and support Ariana. We got there, we met with her little business manager Brad and it kind of put me in an awkward [position],\u201d Brock admitted on the April 26 episode of\u00a0Scheananigans.<\/p>\n

According to Brock, Scheana told him before their trip that she didn\u2019t feel welcomed.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou told me, like, \u2018I don\u2019t know if I want to go to this because I don\u2019t feel welcome there,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018Honey, we\u2019re going,\u2019\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI also had major mom guilt,\u201d Scheana added, giving a nod to\u00a0three-year-old Summer. \u201cThat was the biggest thing was\u00a0I didn\u2019t want to leave Summer\u00a0for three nights for New York and then three nights for Coachella. So I said it\u2019s one or the other. So we went and supported Ariana and we left Coachella Day 3. That was the compromise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because Scheana and Ariana went through some\u00a0rocky moments\u00a0amid filming on season 11, Scheana didn\u2019t feel as comfortable going to see her in\u00a0Chicago\u00a0as she would have the year prior. And as Brock noted, things only got\u00a0tenser between them\u00a0after the reunion, which was filmed in March.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the reunion going to now, it was just a very different vibe,\u201d he explained. \u201cBut I\u2019m still glad we went.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she was fantastic,\u201d Scheana added.<\/p>\n

As for whether Brock regrets bringing Raquel up in front of Ariana, he confirmed he did \u2014 before noting that his intention was pure.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, but if I wasn\u2019t pushing conversations for those first three weeks, no conversations were happening. And when it comes to reunion, you guys will see it, we have these conversations,\u201d he explained. \u201c[Scheana had] put [herself] out there all summer and then all of a sudden, the audience is coming at [her] as if [she was] being selfish\u2026 And it\u2019s like, that narrative\u2019s not there because everyone\u2019s entitled to their opinions and their feelings but people aren\u2019t expressing themselves in this open group.\u201d<\/p>\n

Admittedly, Brock said he felt the need to be \u201cantagonistic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not my proudest moments, nor throwing [Katie Maloney] under the bus for\u00a0doing the deed\u00a0[with\u00a0Max Boyens], but I was just instigating a conversation between people,\u201d he reasoned. \u201cI\u2019m sorry if people get offended about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOn reality TV, someone\u2019s gotta be messy. It happened to be you,\u201d Scheana replied, admitting she was \u201cpissed\u201d that Brock exposed Katie\u2019s hookup with Max.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was out of line,\u201d she told\u00a0her husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was but I\u2019m entitled to ask some questions. I have questions about it and the response was to Tom,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

As they continued to answer questions from fans, Scheana reacted to someone who asked if she felt Ariana not watching the show led her to\u00a0have ill feelings\u00a0about things she\u2019s said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like she would\u2019ve at least had more context [if she\u2019d watched full episodes], versus forming thoughts from what she\u2019s seen from her FYP page, on TikTok, and social media echo chamber,\u201d Scheana agreed. \u201cI think having full conversations and context instead of just little soundbites and clips would\u2019ve been beneficial.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also in the episode, Scheana reacted to the many jokes that have been made regarding her making \u201cScandoval\u201d\u00a0all about her\u00a0and her feelings.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It] feels like something\u2019s finally about me,\u201d she joked. \u201cI\u2019m laughing when I\u2019m seeing these. I\u2019ve even re-tweeted a couple, responded to people because I like to be in on the joke. I can poke fun [at] myself a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n
