<\/p>\nA contestant from season 32 of \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d admitted something quite interesting about his DWTS partnership during his first podcast episode. Harry Jowsey danced with new professional dancer Rylee Arnold during his run on the show. However, Arnold wasn\u2019t who he wanted or expected as his show partner.<\/p>\n

Harry Jowsey Wanted Emma Slater As His DWTS Partner<\/strong> Jowsey admitted he knew virtually nothing about \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d before joining season 32. \u201cI was just going in because my team loved that show. I hadn\u2019t seen one episode.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never even danced before,\u201d Jowsey revealed. He quipped, \u201cLike if you saw me dancing in the club, you\u2019d be like, that guy\u2019s having a seizure or an allergic reaction. We need to evacuate him from the dance floor.\u201d<\/p>\n As he waited to begin the show, before meeting Arnold, Jowsey started \u201cinternet stalking literally everyone on the show.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd my first preference was Emma Slater because we\u2019re friends,\u201d Jowsey divulged.<\/p>\n The former \u201cToo Hot to Handle\u201d star explained, \u201cWe\u2019ve known each other for a while, and she\u2019s a \u2018Dancing with the Stars\u2019 pro. She\u2019s won a mirror ball. She knows how to move. She knows how to shake.\u201d<\/p>\n Jowsey shared, \u201cI really wanted to be matched up with her. But I got a text from Emma saying, hey, surprise, I\u2019m actually not your partner.\u201d He said he started \u201cspiraling\u201d at that point.<\/p>\n When it was time to meet Arnold, he walked into the studio and saw \u201cthis cute little blonde girl named Rylee.\u201d He admitted, \u201cI had no f*cking idea who this lady was because it was her first season as a pro, and she didn\u2019t come up in my extensive research.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cRight as I\u2019m about to walk out of the room and call my manager, Rylee walks up to me with this beaming, beautiful smile on her face and introduces herself as my partner,\u201d Jowsey explained.<\/p>\n DWTS Fans Were Quite Opinionated After Hearing Jowsey\u2019s Admission<\/strong> As \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d viewers saw, Jowsey and Arnold ultimately formed a close friendship during season 32. He also joined her for part of the live tour, and they seemed to have fun together then, too.<\/p>\n Many fans even felt certain a romance was brewing between Arnold and Jowsey. He said in his podcast that was never the case, though.<\/p>\n Jowsey\u2019s first podcast episode gave \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d fans plenty to buzz about.<\/p>\n \u201cWanted Emma but pretty much had no relationship with her during the season. They [barely] interacted. He lowkey ignored her the whole season,\u201d one show fan noted in the \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d subreddit.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s so unprofessional and disrespectful, I feel terrible for rylee,\u201d another fan noted of Jowsey\u2019s initial reaction to having Arnold as his partner.<\/p>\n A separate Redditor shared a different take. \u201cWhy is it so unforgivable that a) he wanted Emma instead of Rylee as a partner and b) that he walked out when he got Rylee and needed to be convinced to stay? Sorry not sorry, I respect him for that.\u201d<\/p>\n That commenter also suggested, \u201cIf he had had Emma as a partner like he wanted, maybe he actually would have learned something.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhere is his professionalism??? \nWhile Jowsey may have initially been tempted to call his manager and express his displeasure with having Arnold as a partner, it seems he ultimately didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n
