Scheana Shay\u00a0has some accusations regarding a recent report on\u00a0John Mayer. The singer found himself unexpectedly part of\u00a0Vanderpump Rules\u00a0Season 11 when Scheana implied she was in an orgy with him.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shortly after the fact,\u00a0a source came forward\u00a0to speak for John, saying, \u201cJohn has told several people close to him that he never hooked up with Scheana. He knows that she has been telling people they hooked up well before the Vanderpump Rules episode aired and it\u2019s gotten back to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Scheana was quick to question these counterclaims. She\u2019s been making comments on John Mayer since 2009, after all. She wasn\u2019t just going to let it go that easily.<\/p>\n

During the April 5 episode of her podcast, Scheana conceded, \u201cI mean, I\u2019m sure John doesn\u2019t love being a storyline on VPR.\u201d However, she asked, \u201cBut where did he deny this?\u201d Scheana went on to question the validity of\u00a0The U.S. Sun\u00a0article that reported on John\u2019s denial of any hookup.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I\u2019m pretty sure it was the Sun who made that claim. It looks like they just made this up,\u201d Scheana said. \u201cThere weren\u2019t quotes from John [and] there weren\u2019t quotes from his team.\u201d Now, notably, Scheana is factually incorrect when she says this. There were quotes from a reported source close to John. However, she may still have a point.<\/p>\n

Even though there were quotes from an insider, Scheana might not be entirely out of pocket in questioning the reality or validity of this source. The Sun has a bit of a track record when it comes to making things up. In Scheana\u2019s own words, \u201cI wouldn\u2019t believe anything that they have to say, so there\u2019s that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Granted, Scheana isn\u2019t the spitting image of honesty either. Still, when it comes to the whole John Mayer question, she has receipts.
