Jax Taylor\u00a0says there is no truth to rumors that he cheated on his wife, Brittany Cartwright, with their longtime publicist.<\/p>\n

In an April 2024 interview, the former\u00a0\u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d\u00a0star addressed\u00a0a specific rumor\u00a0that he hooked up with the duo\u2019s friend and publicist Lori Krebs while in Canada for a promotional appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, that, not again,\u201d Taylor told\u00a0Entertainment Tonight\u00a0of the rumor. \u201cThat was all just hearsay, and it\u2019s just a shame that that happened. But yeah, no, nothing happened there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rumors about Taylor and Krebs surfaced earlier this year when they posed for\u00a0a cheek-to-cheek photo\u00a0together while in Montreal for an event without Cartwright. \u00a0Some fans thought the photo seemed a little too cozy.<\/p>\n

Taylor defended the photo during a February 2024 episode\u00a0of the \u201cWhen Reality Hits\u201d podcast. \u201cI don\u2019t know if people know this or not, but Lori\u2019s been in our lives,\u201d he said. \u201cShe takes care of all of us. This was her hometown. She was really excited to have us there and it was just a lot of fun. People just need to relax.\u201d<\/p>\n

But later that month, Taylor and Cartwright announced\u00a0they had separated\u00a0after nearly five years of marriage. One month later, rumors about the reason for their split were fueled further when Cartwright appeared to\u00a0unfollow both Taylor and Krebs on social media. The move took place while Taylor was once again in Canada with Krebs.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0@bravoandcocktails, Krebs is no longer listed as a PR contact on Cartwright or Taylor\u2019s Instagram bio.<\/p>\n

I know I don\u2019t have the best track record, but no. this was just a communication thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

During an appearance \u00a0on \u201cWatch What Happens Live\u201d\u00a0in early April, Cartwright said there was no cheating that she was \u201caware\u201d of. \u201cI don\u2019t think so, I really don\u2019t think so,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

As for her former \u201cVanderpump Rules\u201d co-stars\u2019 speculating that Taylor had been unfaithful during their marriage, Cartwright replied, \u201cI did all the digging like, we made sure that wasn\u2019t true. Janet [Caperna] from \u2018The Valley.\u2019 She like dove in and was like \u2018No no let\u2019s figure everything out.\u2019 So, we already knew that wasn\u2019t true by that point. You know, I feel like there\u2019s always rumors about Jax no matter what.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cartwright has made it clear that she and Taylor are separated and can do what they want. But in a video interview\u00a0with Us Weekly, she admitted that if Taylor started dating someone, she would not be happy about it. \u201cI don\u2019t think I would like it,\u201d she said.\u00a0 \u201cBut we might end up\u2026 I\u2019m not really sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cartwright also noted that it was \u201cweird \u201cto think about dating someone new because she has been with Taylor for nearly 10 years.<\/p>\n
