Kyle Richards\u00a0and\u00a0Mauricio Umansky\u00a0are reportedly no longer living \u201cunder the same roof\u201d 10 months after confirming\u00a0their separation.<\/p>\n

According to Us Weekly, Umansky purchased a luxury $8.6 million condo in West Hollywood and no longer lives with Richards in their family home in Encino, California. An insider told the outlet, \u201cKyle and Mauricio have been living separately for the last few months and he\u2019s been staying\u201d at the new condo. The insider added that Umansky sometimes goes to the Encino residence when Richards is out of town. The former couple\u2019s youngest two daughters, Sophia and Alexia, still live at home.<\/p>\n

The update to Richards and Umansky\u2019s living situation comes less than a week after they spent\u00a0a cozy family day together\u00a0at the Stagecoach festival.<\/p>\n

In July 2023,\u00a0People magazine reported\u00a0that Richards and Umansky had separated after 27 years of marriage but were \u201cliving under the same roof\u201d with their daughters in the Encino mansion they purchased together in 2018. For months, the two claimed the unusual living situation was working out.<\/p>\n

But during the final part of the\u00a0\u201cReal Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d\u00a0season 13 reunion,\u00a0\u00a0taped in January 2024, Richards admitted there had been conversations about one of them moving out. After host Andy Cohen asked, \u201cYou are separated but still living under one roof\u2026Are there conversations about someone moving out?\u201d Richard responded, \u201cYes. There has been now.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Cohen asked who would move out, Richards replied, \u201cHe would. \u2026He\u2019s looking for a place to move out.\u201d \u00a0Richards also hinted that divorce could happen. \u201cIt\u2019s hard for us to say that word, I think, but if he\u2019s looking for a place to move out, I haven\u2019t really seen progress,\u201d she said in January.<\/p>\n

In March 2024, Umansky\u00a0told TMZ\u00a0 he and Richards were still talking about him moving out. \u201cWe\u2019re in the middle of that conversation,\u201d he said at that time.<\/p>\n

A source for Us Weekly hinted that Richards and Umansky may never divorce because it\u2019s \u201ctoo messy financially as Kyle has a huge stake in [Umansky\u2019s real estate firm] The Agency.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richards previously explained how she managed to continue living with Umansky for so long after their separation. \u201cWe live under the same roof in different rooms,\u201d she\u00a0told \u201cToday With Hoda and Jenna\u201d\u00a0in February. She also noted that she and Umansky own other homes that they were able to utilize. (The exes own homes in Aspen and La Quinta, California.)<\/p>\n

In March 2024, a source\u00a0for Page Six\u00a0claimed that Umansky was overheard on a trip to Aspen talking about \u201cmoving out of the house\u201d he shares with Richards.<\/p>\n

During an appearance\u00a0on \u201cWatch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,\u201d\u00a0Richards explained that she moved out of the primary bedroom because the room was very masculine\u201d She moved into a more \u201cglam\u201d bedroom upstairs.<\/p>\n

More recently, Richards answered fan questions during\u00a0an Amazon Live\u00a0and confirmed that she was still living in the Encino home. \u201cI\u2019m still in my house,\u201d she told fans on April 2, 2024. \u201cI have too many dogs to go anywhere else. I\u2019m still here.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also teased that she was doing some redecorating. During her Live, Richards said she was \u201cworking on the upstairs of the house.\u201d \u201cI want to do a whole wall of just different art.
