It has been a while since fans bid farewell to the VH1 series,\u00a0Mob Wives<\/strong>. The show, which ran from 2011 to 2016, gave us pure chaos. But it was impossible to look away from the drama. The series followed several feisty, outspoken Staten Island women who had ties to the mob. Most of the cast had spouses or other family members behind bars.<\/p>\n

Drita D\u2019Avanzo<\/strong>,\u00a0Karen Gravano,\u00a0Renee Graziano,\u00a0Carla Facciolo, and\u00a0Angela \u201cBig Ang\u201d Raiola\u00a0served us true mob wives aesthetic while dealing with having loved ones in jail. Drita didn\u2019t have the same background as the other ladies. She was brought into the life by her boyfriend, and now husband,\u00a0Lee D\u2019Avanzo. Drita and Big Ang were tight. Sadly, Ang\u00a0passed away\u00a0in 2016.<\/p>\n

There were plenty of verbal, and sometimes physical, altercations on Mob Wives. Drita and Karen fought because Karen\u00a0used to date Lee. The Albanian firecracker became a fan favorite because of her hot takes, fashion sense, and take-no-prisoners attitude.<\/p>\n

After Mob Wives ended, Drita was involved in some brushes with law enforcement. Since she is known for her fiery temper, this news wasn\u2019t a surprise.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Page Six, in February 2016, Drita was arrested for misdemeanor assault. She allegedly attacked her neighbor over a parking space. Yikes! The case was later dismissed.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Sun\u00a0reported that in August 2020, Lee was sentenced to 64 months in prison. The charge was felony possession of a gun. Drita was arrested at the same time as her husband when the New York Police Department raided the couple\u2019s home in 2019. Drita was charged with criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and a firearm. \u00a0The charges against her were later dropped.<\/p>\n

Drita and Lee are separated<\/h2>\n

Drita revealed to the U.S. Sun that she and Lee have been estranged \u201cfor a couple years now.\u201d She added that they were \u201cseparated for a long time.\u201d The couple shares two daughters, Aleeya D\u2019Avanzo and Gizelle D\u2019Avanzo. When Lee and Drita\u2019s divorce is finalized, she will make an announcement.<\/p>\n

Not only was Drita a reality star, but she was also a well-known make-up artist. She used her professional experience to launch her own beauty store, called Lady Boss, while on Mob Wives. Say what you will about Drita, but she was always a hard worker.<\/p>\n

Drita shared her must-haves to achieve the mob wife look. \u201cThe mob wife aesthetic thing has taken over the world. You gotta have a fur,\u201d Drita said in a TikTok. \u201cYou have to bling out. Animal print and big sunglasses. So now you need animal print, fur coats, big, big sunglasses, and a lot of jewelry. And you are officially a mob wife,\u201d she stated. \u201cDon\u2019t get the criminal boyfriend. Leave that alone,\u201d she added. Drita is speaking from experience.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Time Out, Drita also hosts a mob wife aesthetic contest at Ainslie Bowery. Guests wear their most outrageous mob wife outfits. Drita hosts a three-course Italian meal and then judges a fashion contest. Now, does that sound like a good time, or what? Drita even appeared on\u00a0Watch What Happens Live\u00a0as the bartender to dish on the mob wife aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Drita spoke about Renee Graziano\u2019s overdose<\/h2>\n

Renee nearly died of\u00a0an overdose\u00a0last year after accidentally ingesting Fentanyl. She thought that it was another drug.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like her. However, in capitals, I wish her to find health and peace of mind and don\u2019t wish nothing bad on her,\u201d Drita told\u00a0US Weekly. \u201cDo I like the motherf\u2013ker? Hell no.\u201d She added, \u201cBut I don\u2019t wish bad on nobody. I really do wish her well though.\u201d At least Drita has some compassion for her former co-star.<\/p>\n

TMZ reported that Drita is working on a scripted series about her life. She is reportedly developing the show with a major studio.
