The\u00a0RHONJ\u00a0<\/em>cast member spent the better part of a year behind bars at the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut.<\/p>\n Years before she married\u00a0Luis “Louie” Ruelas\u00a0or sent her daughters\u00a0Gia Giudice\u00a0or\u00a0Gabriella Giudice\u00a0to college,\u00a0Teresa Giudice\u00a0spent\u00a0some time in prison.<\/p>\n Back in 2014,\u00a0The Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em>\u00a0cast member and her first husband,\u00a0Joe Giudice, pled guilty to bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. Both Teresa and Joe served out prison sentences, though the then-spouses were able to stagger them so one parent could always be present for their four daughters.<\/p>\n Following her guilty plea, the mom of four was sentenced to 15 months in prison. However, Teresa was only actually behind bars in Danbury, Connecticut for 11 months.<\/p>\n Teresa returned home shortly before Christmas, on December 23, 2015.
